We Are Grateful for All Our Dedicated Borough Volunteers

Our Borough is facing a critical shortage of Volunteers across many areas vital to the well-being of our community. As grateful as we are for our current volunteers, we need YOU, too!

Middlesex Volunteers – and We Need You, Too!

Visit us at our Volunteer Fair on Saturday, April 20th!

  • 10am - 2pm

  • Library Community room

  • All Experience Levels

  • Women and Men

  • All Ages

Where do your time and talents fit best? Visit us at the Fair, and let's talk!

  • Fire Department

  • Rescue Squad

  • Rec Department

  • Borough Committees

  • Office of Emergency Management

  • Senior & Disabled Services

  • Boro Boards, Commissions and Departments

Introducing a Few of Our Dedicated Borough Volunteers

We are proud to highlight some of your friends and neighbors who tell us in their own words why they volunteer in Middlesex. Our community’s local volunteers are so important! Each of them inspires us to take action and promotes respect for their fellow residents.

Are you ready to get started?

Send us a message today and begin a friendly discussion with our Middlesex Borough volunteers to find out where you can be a great fit.

Especially in this day and age, we know people are busy, families are torn in many directions, and local businesses are focused on their survival. At the same time, much in our Borough traditionally depends on dedicated volunteers to operate – for things including Fire Department, Office of Emergency Management, Recreation, Rescue Squad, Committees, and so many other vital functions of our hometown. (And don’t forget, these Borough all-volunteer departments help keep our taxes down, too!)

Our Borough is Facing a Critical Shortage of Volunteers

As grateful as we our for our current volunteers, We need YOU, too!

Our outreach this year aims to break through a common misunderstanding – where people (all of us!) tend to assume that ‘someone else will probably do it.’ Our Middlesex Volunteers! campaign organizers want to encourage individuals like YOU to think about what talent you might be able to contribute as a proud resident of the Borough.

Keep an eye on our Facebook page, this website, sign up for Borough email-newsletters, and watch for an announcement soon about our upcoming Volunteer Fair event in April.
