The Middlesex Recreation Department

Our department is committed to providing a safe environment for the residents while focusing on participation and fun. We offer many activities for toddlers, youth and adults, including leisure programs that are safe, stimulating, and fun! Special events and services are also provided through the department. You can register for these programs through our online portal below.

SERVICES WE OFFER:

  • Adult Programs - The Recreation Department offers programs to adults who are 18 years of age and over, post high school and a borough resident.

  • Youth Programs - The Recreation Department offers many programs to the youth of our town. Participants must meet age and/or grade requirements and have at least one parent who resides within the Borough.

  • Toddler Programs - The Recreation Department offers programs for toddlers and pre-school age children who are at least one year of age and walking.

  • Special Events - The Recreation Department sponsors several special events throughout the year. These events help in bringing our community together!

  • Discount Tickets/Services - The Recreation Department offers various services such as discount tickets for amusement parks and movie theatres.

Fall 2026 Activities

Annual Winter Wonderland Festival

When: Sunday, December 6 from 3:00–6:00 PM
Where: Mountain View Park-Flying Field
FREE ADMISSION!

Bring the whole family and celebrate the holiday season with an afternoon full of festive fun! Activities include: A BIG bonfire, Music by Flashover Entertainment, Performances by local groups, Mr. & Mrs. Claus, Kids Activities, Vendors, food trucks & more!

The Middlesex Police Department will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots at the event.

Toddler Playgroup

Monday Evenings: 9/28 - 11/30 from 6 - 7:30pm. (No session on 10/12 or 10/19)
Tuesday Mornings: 9/29 - 12/1 from 9 - 10:30am (No session on 10/13 or 11/3)

Cost: Residents - $100, Non-Residents - $120
Drop-Ins Welcome - $20 per session

We are updating our website and promotional materials and want to use the talents of our residents to showcase the beauty, fun and community spirit of our parks.

When: Tuesdays 6 - 7PM

Line Dancing

When: Fridays from September 18 - November 6
Where: Middlesex Recreation Center
Cost: $80 for the full session, $15 for drop-ins
