The Middlesex Recreation Department
Our department is committed to providing a safe environment for the residents while focusing on participation and fun. We offer many activities for toddlers, youth and adults, including leisure programs that are safe, stimulating, and fun! Special events and services are also provided through the department. You can register for these programs through our online portal below.
SERVICES WE OFFER:
Adult Programs - The Recreation Department offers programs to adults who are 18 years of age and over, post high school and a borough resident.
Youth Programs - The Recreation Department offers many programs to the youth of our town. Participants must meet age and/or grade requirements and have at least one parent who resides within the Borough.
Toddler Programs - The Recreation Department offers programs for toddlers and pre-school age children who are at least one year of age and walking.
Special Events - The Recreation Department sponsors several special events throughout the year. These events help in bringing our community together!
Discount Tickets/Services - The Recreation Department offers various services such as discount tickets for amusement parks and movie theatres.

Line Dancing
When: Fridays from September 18 - November 6
Where: Middlesex Recreation Center
Cost: $80 for the full session, $15 for drop-ins
Playdates at the Playground
Residents in Pre-K through 5th Grade are invited to visit some of our amazing Borough parks for an afternoon of fun, play and creativity
When: Tuesdays (8/18, 8,25 & 9/1) from 12 - 1pm
Cost: FREE
Not a drop off event. Adult supervision required.
Photograph Our Parks Contest
We are updating our website and promotional materials and want to use the talents of our residents to showcase the beauty, fun and community spirit of our parks.

Skills & Drills Softball Camp
When: July 20–23 (Rain Date: July 24)
Where: Middlesex High School Softball Field
Who: Grades 1–6: 9:00–11:30 AM
Grades 7–12: 12:00–2:30 PM
Cost: Middlesex Residents: $120
Non-Residents: $140
A minimum of 10 players is required for each session.
Summer Movie Nights
Movies begin at dusk (around 7:30PM)
Bring a blanket or lawn chair

We are not trying to be CAGE-y with the movie titles but due to movie licensing and copyright restrictions, we are unable to advertise movie titles in advance.

Grades 6-12

Cost: $60 for the full session, $110 for both sessions
Summer Playground
When: M-F June 29 - August 5, 9am - noon
Where: Mountain View Park
Cost: Entire summer per child: $350 or weekly per child $85
