Mayor Jack Mikolajczyk
Mayor Jack Mikolajczyk has been a proud Middlesex resident since 1990. Prior to being elected Mayor, he served as:
- Chairperson of the Cub Scout Committee for seven years.
- Middlesex Board of Education member for six years and served as President for five years.
- Volunteer member of the Middlesex Budget Committee for two years.
- Recreation Department volunteer coach for thirteen years.
- Member of the Borough Council for nine years.Mayor Jack Mikolajczyk graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in Economics. He was a senior manager at Pamarco Global Graphics for 38 years and recently retired as their VP of Finance.
Mayor Mikolajczyk is married and has three adult children and two grandchildren.

Council President Michael Conahan
Council President Mike Conahan and his wife, Maddalena, are proud Middlesex residents since 2002, in addition, to Maddalena being a proud Middlesex High School graduate, class of 1988.
Mike served as a volunteer on the Middlesex Zoning Board of Adjustment, in numerous positions over 12 years, including 4 years as Chairman. He also served as a volunteer on the Planning Board for approximately 6 years, including 2 years as Vice-Chairman. He also served as a volunteer on the Middlesex Board of Health for approximately 5 years. Mike was also a volunteer member of the Middlesex Borough 100th Anniversary Committee in 2013.
Most recently, Mike served as a volunteer on the Joint Land Use Board (JLUB) for 4 years, 3 years as Chairman. He also served as a volunteer on the Middlesex Board of Health for almost 2 years, including one year as Vice-President. Mike also served as a volunteer on the Middlesex Recreation Committee for 7 years. He also served as a volunteer on the Middlesex Redevelopment Committee for 4 years.
Mike was appointed to the Middlesex Borough Council, to fill a vacancy, in 2022. He then won reelection for the remaining one year of the unexpired term, on November 8, 2022 and was sworn in on January 3, 2023. Mike was again reelected to a full three year term, on November 7, 2023 and was sworn in on January 2, 2024.
He graduated from Radford University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Mike currently works in the private sector and has done so successfully for the last 30 years.
He and his wife Maddalena, have one child in college (Jacalyn) and one child in Middlesex High School (Megan). Over a 12 year span, Mike coached them both in Soccer, Basketball and Softball. They also have a dog they rescued, Pepper.

Councilwoman Jennifer Clock
Jennifer Clock moved to Middlesex in 2020, where she and her husband, Rich, have been proud residents ever since. She holds associate degrees in Criminal Justice and Pre-Social Work, along with a Certificate of Completion in Chemical Dependency. Professionally, she oversees two food pantries in New Jersey, ensuring individuals and families have access to essential resources and support.
Jennifer is deeply committed to helping others and believes that strong communities are built through compassion, service, and accessibility.
Jennifer and Rich are the proud parents of five children and enjoy spending time together as a family. They are enthusiastic New York Yankees fans, a love that even extends to their black lab, Jeter. Outside of her professional and public service roles, Jennifer enjoys tap dancing as a creative and energizing outlet.
Councilwoman Clock is honored to serve the Middlesex community and is committed to being approachable and responsive. She wants residents to know that she is always available to listen, support, and work collaboratively to make Middlesex a stronger community for all.

Councilman Kevin Dotey
Kevin Dotey is a lifelong resident of Middlesex. He joined the United States Marine Corps after graduating from Middlesex High School in 1981 and served honorably. After his time in service of his country, he started his career in the construction and repair of fueling facilities and has continued in this industry for over 35 years. Kevin is married to his wife, Jeane, and they have two adult children, Kyle and Ashley.
Kevin is a past Councilman and is currently serving his third term with the Borough Council. Prior to being elected to Council, Kevin was the Middlesex Little League President. He has been involved in numerous municipal organizations throughout his time in Middlesex.

Councilman Joseph DeScenza
Councilman DeScenza and his wife, Emily Zuccarelli, have been proud Middlesex Borough residents for almost 60 years. During that time, Councilman DeScenza has sponsored scholarships for Middlesex High School graduates, served as captain for the Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church fund drive, and served on the Zoning and Joint Land Use Boards. He also served as Exalted Ruler, Trustee, and Secretary of the Middlesex Elks for 17 years.
A former senior business advisor in the hospitality industry, Councilman DeScenza has used his strengths in developing effective and creative solutions to budgetary and operational issues as a Councilman since 2025. He enjoys fostering teamwork and innovation, both on the Council and on the committees with which he serves as liaison.

Councilwoman Shannon Quinn
Shannon Quinn is a lifelong resident of Middlesex Borough, with a strong record of civic involvement and public service. She served as Chairwoman of the Parks Improvement Committee for three years, leading efforts to enhance Borough parks and recreational amenities. Shannon spent four years on the Middlesex Borough Board of Education, participating in policy development, budget review, and district governance. She has also served the community as a Girl Scout leader for seven years, where she has supported youth development and family engagement.
Professionally, Shannon has over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and supply chain operations and holds an associate’s degree in Accounting. Her background includes working with budgets, schedules, and day-to-day operations, all of which are skills that are useful in understanding and managing municipal programs and resources.
Shannon lives in Middlesex with her husband, Martin, their children, Donovan and Evlin, and their two dogs, Snowball and Squeek. She enjoys being involved in the community, staying connected with local families, and taking part in Borough events. As a longtime resident and parent, she cares deeply about Middlesex and the people who call it home.
