Take Back Day is Saturday, October 28, 2023

Too often, unused prescription drugs find their way into the wrong hands. That's dangerous and often tragic. That's why thousands of folks from across the country clean out their medicine cabinets and turn in – safely and anonymously – a record amount of prescription drugs on the DEA’s Take Back Day.

The Middlesex Police Department will be a collection location for the DEA National Prescription Medication Take Back from 10 am–2 pm at Police headquarters 1101 Mountain Ave, Middlesex, NJ 08846.

DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day has helped Americans easily rid their homes of unneeded medications — those that are old, unwanted, or expired — that too often become a gateway to addiction.

The Middlesex PD and all Borough departments encourage your participation in the DEA's Take Back Day and encourages you to learn about the importance of disposing of any unwanted, unused or expired prescription medications in your house.
