September is National Preparedness Month

Middlesex Borough’s Office of Emergency Management and FEMA encourage you to “Take Control in 1, 2, 3” this month.

NATIONAL PREPAREDNESS MONTH

  • Disaster Preparedness Month is an annual campaign held every September by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The theme this year is “Take Control 1, 2, 3” It aims to raise awareness about the importance of being prepared for disasters and emergencies that could happen at any time.

  • On September 1, 2023 National Preparedness Month began. We are already in the height of very active and extreme weather conditions. Everyone should be thinking about and having conversations with their family, friends, neighbors or loved ones to discuss what you would do in the event of a disaster in your area to prepare and protect.

  • Middlesex Borough Office of Emergency Management strives to educate and empower our residents in preparing for and responding to emergencies including natural and man-made disasters.

Get involved in your community today, to help build a culture of preparedness.

Bystander CPR and Blue Jays Football

Coming right up on September 15 and September 29 are the first of Four Middlesex High School Varsity Football Home Game Presentations of Free- No Breath- Bystander CPR.
