Now You Can Safely Dispose of Rechargeable Batteries at the Recycling Center

Thanks to Call2Recycle, you can drop off your old batteries for free at thousands of locations across the US – and now these locations include the Middlesex Borough Recycling Center! The Recycling Center has partnered with Call2Recycle® for consumer battery recycling.

Call2Recycle manages battery recycling efforts and ensures the reduction of hazardous waste in compliance with state and national regulations. Remember, DO NOT throw batteries in the garbage or in your curbside recycling bin! Batteries can cause fires and harm the environment, people, and property.
