Pool Logo Contest Winners Announced

Logo Contest

We are excited to announce that we have chosen a logo for the Pool! Thank you to everyone that submitted entries for the contest! This is the first logo in the Pool’s 50+ year history!

The original logo entry was submitted by John Sousa, a Middlesex resident. The logo was then presented to the Middlesex High School Visual Arts Club for further enhancement. It was a very exciting project for the students! We received many great logos from the students and narrowed down the final logo to one that was created by Katrina Alcalde. Katrina is a Sophomore and in her second year in the Visual Arts Club. Katrina’s submission was adopted as our final logo. Congratulations to John Sousa and Katrina Alcalde as our Logo Contest Winners!

Thank you to MHS for your assistance in re-creating the official logo for the Middlesex Community Pool. A special thanks to Mr. Dow, Visual Arts Club teacher, for his hard work and guidance with the students to bring this project and final logo to fruition.
