Road Repairs

Many roadways within the Borough are being crack-filled to increase pavement life and serviceability. This is a preventive maintenance to prevent water from entering asphalt layers and creating future potholes. Cracks are inevitable and neglect leads to accelerated cracking and many long-term problems. Our Public Works Department takes great pride in maintaining safe roads for our borough residents.

Garbage Collection

Twice a week garbage ended on the last week of August. Beginning after Labor Day, September through May, pickups will be on the once-a-week schedule.

If your garbage pick-up falls on a holiday Monday or holiday Tuesday while once a week garbage is in effect, your pick up will be on Wednesday.

Please help keep Middlesex clean - do not store garbage at the curb. Garbage should be placed at the curb the night before pickup and empty cans removed from the curb by 8:00 PM on pick up day.  Use regulation 32 gallon covered containers and do not exceed 50 pounds.
