Food Trucks and Fun Coming to Mountainview Park

Food
Although summer days are waning, there is still a great deal to look forward to thanks to Middlesex Borough and Mega Bites Events! A range of dining options will be available including new twists on old favorites and a range of ethnic cuisines. Some of the food trucks that are scheduled to put in an appearance are Harry’s Lil Kitchen, Let’s Have a Ball, Mexi Boys, Cas Pierogi, Cat Like Reflexes, Angry Archies, Chank and Go Pizza Cones, Clyde’s Ice Cream, The Cake Jar Shoppe, and JerZey Girl Pickles. Beverages
Visitors to the event will be able to wash down their food truck feast of choice with a variety of local NJ craft beers, wine, and hard seltzers. The alcohol is being made available by the Middlesex Elks, Lodge 1488.
Music
Perhaps a full belly will embolden attendees to sway to the rhythms of live music by Naughty Humphry and The Big Fuss or challenge their neighbor to a rousing game of cornhole. Other activities that can be found at the event include face painting, a variety of Boardwalk-style games, and hatch throwing care of Bury the Hatchet. Tables
Non-profit community organizations will have the opportunity to participate through table display. Some tables are still available; those interested in reserving a table for community outreach at this event should speak to the Middlesex Borough Recreation Department at 732-356-7400 ext. 277.
Tickets
Megabite Events will be organizing ticket distribution. Tickets purchased at the door will be $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 4-10, and those 3 and under are free. Tickets bought in advance will receive a discounted rate of $6 for adults and $4 for children ages 4-10 (plus free bounce house admission!). All signs indicate that this will be a very popular event, and anyone interested in attending should consider getting their tickets ahead of time. This promises to be a fun and exciting way to kick of the fall season. So, people are encouraged to grab friends and family, and be ready to have a wonderful time celebrating with the community. Be sure to bring your folding chairs!
