COVID-19 Related Closings for Middlesex Borough

The current COVID-19 Coronavirus crisis has lead to the following schedule changes.

Effective March 18

Effective immediately, all Middlesex Borough playgrounds, fields, basketball courts and play areas are closed to the public. Although we are deeply saddened to prohibit children from enjoying our equipment, at this time, we feel it is in the best interest of the public.

Regarding Inspections: Building or dwelling interior inspections related to Building, Plumbing, Electric and Fire sub codes have ceased until further notice. See the Construction page here for more information.

Effective March 16

MUNICIPAL OFFICES will be closed to the Public until further notice. Borough staff will be working and will be happy to work with any resident during our regular hours by telephone or email. Effective March 15

  • HEALTH RESOURCES visit the Health Department page for links to resources

  • HEALTH DEPARTMENT: the Food Handlers Class scheduled for March 24, 2020 at 1PM at the Library has been cancelled until a date to be determined

  • MUNICIPAL COURT sessions have been cancelled for Monday March 16 and 23

  • RECREATION/SENIOR CENTER all programs have been suspended until further notice. Read this announcement for additional Rec/Senior policy and news.

  • LIBRARY closed beginning 3/16

  • HEALTH visit the Health Department page for links to resources
